Practical support when you feel stuck

I provide individual therapy for adults in Lethbridge dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, low confidence, and difficult life transitions. I am a Registered Psychologist with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology.

My approach is practical and collaborative. We look at what is happening in your thoughts, behaviours, relationships, sleep, and daily routines, then build tools that fit your life.

I am currently accepting new individual clients, with appointments typically available within 1-2 weeks.

Therapy for anxiety

Anxiety can show up as constant worry, overthinking, irritability, trouble sleeping, physical tension, avoidance, or feeling unable to switch off. In therapy, we work to understand the patterns keeping anxiety active and practise realistic ways to respond differently.

That may include examining unhelpful predictions, approaching situations you have been avoiding, improving routines, and building practical skills for stressful moments.

Therapy for depression

Depression can feel like low energy, loss of interest, disconnection, self-criticism, poor concentration, or difficulty starting even basic tasks. Sessions focus on understanding what is maintaining the problem and identifying manageable steps forward.

We may work on daily structure, thought patterns, relationships, meaningful activity, sleep, and the beliefs that affect how you see yourself and your future.

What CBT-based sessions look like

1

Understand the pattern

We identify the thoughts, behaviours, circumstances, and relationships connected to what you are experiencing.

2

Set a useful goal

We agree on what you want to change, without expecting you to have everything figured out at the first session.

3

Practise concrete tools

We test practical strategies between sessions and adjust them based on what actually helps.

Fees, insurance, and availability

A 50-minute individual session is $205. As a Registered Psychologist, my sessions are covered by many major insurance plans, but coverage differs by provider. Check your plan or ask the Run Free Counselling Centre front desk if you are unsure.

I am currently welcoming new individual clients and am typically booking 1-2 weeks out. Wait times across Lethbridge vary by provider, so use the booking link to see my current openings.

When couples counselling may fit instead

Sometimes anxiety or low mood is closely tied to communication, conflict, trust, or disconnection in a relationship. Individual therapy may still be useful, but if the main problem is happening between you and your partner, couples counselling in Lethbridge may be the better starting point.

If you are unsure, you can reach out and describe what is happening. We can discuss whether an individual or couples session makes more sense.
